Looseleaf Version

The looseleaf version provides access to straightforward analysis and Sample Statements of Policy and Procedure (i.e. model policies) for each of the topics listed below.

Straightforward and comprehensive analysis

Each chapter begins with an overview of the policy in question. The overview provides in-depth information about why the policy is required, what an employer needs to be aware of when developing and implementing the policy, and the minimum legislative standards, if any, for each Atlantic province. Special attention is given to the differences in legislative requirements, if any, amongst the four provinces.

Sample Statements of Policy and Procedure (SSPP)

The sample (model) policy included with every topical area reflects the minimum standards for the Atlantic province with the most stringent legal requirements. The electronic version contains province-specific versions of each sample (model) policy found in the looseleaf manual.
