Print/Export Your Policies

PolicyPro Print and Export Features

The PolicyPro software has flexible output capabilities and allows you to print your policies and/or export them to a folder in Word format.

From within PolicyPro you can print or export

• a single document i.e., a particular policy version or form
• a single policy
• multiple policies by
  • Policy Version
  • Chapter
• the entire manual

In addition, there are several options that become active depending on the selection of documents to be printed. You can choose to include

• Word Replacements
• Forms
• a Table of Contents
• The Front Matter Documents

The only difference between the print and export functions is the Print function sends the policies to the printer while the Export function sends the policies to files in a folder location you specify.

Export Policies to post on your Company Intranet

To make it easy to mount your policies on an Intranet, when you export all policies in a version, Chapter or manual, you have the option to generate a Table of Contents.

The Table of Contents is created as an HTML file and contains links to all of the policies that were exported.

Simply copy the folder containing the exported policies to your server and point users to the HTML Table of Contents file.

Users can then link to Word versions of the policies from within Internet Explorer.

Note: Any changes made to the exported version of the policies will not be reflected within PolicyPro. You will need to import any exported policies that are modified if you want to preserve these changes within PolicyPro.
