Networking PolicyPro

The policies can be stored on a network drive or a shared folder in order to facilitate collaboration or ease of backup, but there is no separate client tools installation package.

As a result, the software must initially be installed locally on each client PC to ensure all of the necessary Windows controls are installed.

After the software has been installed locally, the data files can be "migrated" to a network drive or share rather than the local installation. If a policy manual already exists at the network location, the user is given the option of "connecting" to that Policy manual.

Every PC running the PolicyPro software must also have

  • Microsoft Word (or Office)
  • Microsoft .NET Framework Version 3.5
  • Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) Version 2.8 or higher (Windows XP users only)
    •
  • PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader

In addition, each user requires an Activation Code to access the software past the trial period and to enable the print function.
