- The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other
removable disk that is not available
- The feature you are trying to install is on a network resource that is unavailable
Both the
- Error Reading Setup Initialization File
and
- The Application Failed to Initialize Properly
error messages occur if there was a problem with the downloaded installation package.
To resolve either of these error messages, re-download and install the latest version of
PolicyPro
from the Download page.

- The feature you are trying to install is on a network resource that is unavailable
errors occur when there is a problem with the MSI for the currently
installed PolicyPro release such as:
- part of a PolicyPro installation package or MSI is
present on the machine and the installer doesn't quite know how to resolve it,
- if the Microsoft Installer file for PolicyPro has somehow become corrupted
- if the Windows Installer itself has become corrupted
You need to manually uninstall the current installation of PolicyPro to correct this error. Click
